Wedding-Ready Skin, Planned Around Your Big Day

Somewhere between the venue deposit and the seating chart, most couples realize their skin is going to be photographed more in one day than in the entire year prior. That is the moment bridal skincare stops being a someday idea and becomes a real line on the to-do list. The honest answer to “When should I start?” depends on your skin, your goals, and how far out your wedding is. This is why a plan built around your date beats a one-size-fits-all bundle every time.

Bridal Glow-Up Timeline: 6 Months of Treatments With Nurse Skylar | Eminence Medical Aesthetics

That planning is what we do best! Eminence Medical Aesthetics is an award-winning medical spa in the heart of Princeton, NJ, serving brides, grooms and wedding parties across Princeton, Montgomery and the surrounding towns since 2013. Our medical director, Dr. Shawn Yunayev, MD, sets the clinical protocols and safety standards behind every service on our menu, and whoever you see for your treatment will be a credentialed, experienced provider.

Our team includes board-certified aesthetic nurses (BSN, RN), doctorate-prepared nurse practitioners and certified injectors who pursue advanced training year-round to keep their technique sharp. It is the same standard of care we hold for every patient, wedding or not, and it is one reason Suburban Life magazine named founder Galina Kotovets one of its “Women to Watch.”

Here is what sets a Bridal Beauty Treatment at Eminence apart: We do not sell wedding packages. A price-tier bundle only works if your skin happens to match the average it was designed around, and real skin rarely does. Two brides can walk in the same week with completely different needs, one ready for months of collagen work, the other wanting a single glow-boosting facial, and charging them for the same list of services would serve the menu rather than the person. So we build from scratch instead. Your plan is written after your consultation and priced around the treatments your skin genuinely calls for, and nothing it does not. “The most flattering result on a wedding day is one that still looks like you,” says Dr. Yunayev. “That only happens when the plan is built around the person, not a package.”

Bridal consultations extend well beyond the bride. Grooms exploring their first treatment, mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids who want to look their best in photos, and the full wedding party can each book their own consultation and receive a plan suited to their own skin and timeline. Whether that means a single hydrating facial or a longer-term regimen, the plan meets each person where they are.

treatments to get for the big day

What are the most popular bridal treatments at Eminence?

The right combination always depends on your skin and your timeline, but a few treatments come up in almost every bridal consultation. These are the ones brides, grooms and wedding parties ask about most, grouped by what they do:

Your consultation is where we decide which of these belong in your plan and which are better left off it.

How far in advance should I start bridal treatments before my wedding?

Most brides get the best results by booking their first consultation 9 to 12 months out, which leaves room for longer-term goals before moving into quicker treatments closer to the date.  Booking early does not commit you to a long list of services; it simply gives you and your provider the most options and the least pressure. Shorter timelines are common and completely workable too, which is where a personalized plan really earns its keep.  Here is roughly how we map a wedding countdown during a consultation:

  • 9 to 12 months out, set the foundation. Your first consultation and written plan, plus any longer-term work like laser resurfacing or a dialed-in skincare regimen.
  • 4 to 6 months out, address the bigger goals. This is the window for treatments with gradual results or real recovery time, such as Sculptra, Ultherapy or body contouring, so results are fully in place before the wedding.
  • 6 to 8 weeks out, refine and settle. Injectables like BOTOX, Dysport and dermal fillers, along with gentle finishing treatments, all timed so any swelling resolves and results settle before the big day.
  • 1 to 2 weeks out, final glow. A hydrating treatment such as a HydraFacial or oxygen facial, or a round of IV therapy for a hydrated, well-rested look. Nothing new, nothing aggressive, just glow.
Tell us your wedding date and we will build the plan around it, whatever the runway!

What if my wedding is only one to three months away?

Then you are in very good company, because plenty of brides and bridal party members come to us with weeks on the calendar rather than months, and there is a lot we can still do. This is precisely why a customized plan matters more than a fixed package: with a shorter timeframe, the goal shifts from long-term projects to the treatments that deliver visible, reliable results fast and safely. In the one-to-three-month window, that often means a series of HydraFacials to build a genuine glow and possibly an oxygen facial, CryoFacial or dermaplaning for luminous, makeup-ready skin. IV therapy is a great addition during the final stretch when energy is low and the calendar is full. What we skip on a short timeline is anything unpredictable or brand new that close to the day. Your consultation will sort the high-impact options from the ones better saved for later, so you walk in confident rather than rushed.

Can my parents and wedding guests book treatments too?

Yes, and many do. Bridal planning at Eminence is not limited to the bride or bridal party. Fathers of the bride and groom often book their first neuromodulator treatment before the big day, and mothers of the couple come in for refreshing facials or injectables. Many wedding guests schedule treatments so they look and feel their best in person and in photos. Each person receives their own consultation and their own plan, matched to their skin, their comfort level and their timeline.

Do you offer bridal packages or bundle pricing?

We do not, and that is a deliberate choice. Instead of pre-set price tiers, every bridal plan is built individually after a consultation and priced only for the treatments that are right for your skin and your timeline. The approach reflects how we run the whole practice. As founder Galina Kotovets put it in Suburban Life magazine, "We begin each new client relationship with an extensive, complimentary consultation in order to educate and guide them through our recommendations." You are never paying for services you do not need just to unlock a discount, and you are never talked into add-ons that do not serve your goals. Tell us your wedding date and we will build your plan around it. Call 609-616-9815 or request your complimentary consultation to get started.
