A Breakthrough in Medical Weight Loss!

The most sought after medical weight-loss medication, Semaglutide, is now available at Eminence Medical Aesthetics in Princeton, NJ! Semaglutide is is an injectable prescription medicine used to help adults lose excess weight more quickly and easily than alternative options. Blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels may also improve with use of Semaglutide, which works by mimicking the action of a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) to regulate blood sugar levels.

Semaglutide is administered in office, as a subcutaneous injection once a week, per the scheduled dose and duration determined by one of our clinicians, based on your specific needs and goals. For an improved weight loss experience, we combine Semiglutide with B12 to increase energy and improve sleep cycles.  For optimal results, Semaglutide should be used with a reduced calorie meal plan and increased physical activity.  Completing the recommended treatment plan is necessary to maximize treatment efficacy.

Those suffering from access weight or stubborn areas of fat can also consider Coolsculpting Elite for permanent fat reduction and Emsculpt Neo for muscle tone/definition and skin tightening.

*Disclaimer: individual results may vary.

How is Semaglutide different from Ozempic, Wegovy, or Rybelsus

Ozempic, Wegovy or Rybelsus are merely the branded names of the same medication as semaglutide, so they are not different.

How long is Semaglutide treatment duration?

The length of each treatment plan is customized to each persons weight loss goal, general health, ability to adhere to treatment plan etc. You could be on Semaglutide for as few as 3 months (minimum) or remain on the treatment until you reach your goal weight or longer to maintain your desired weight.

How Does Semaglutide work?

Semaglutide works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake and also enhances insulin secretion from the pancreas and regulates blood sugar.

How much weight will I loose each week with Semaglutide?

Each body is different so there is no way to predict exact weight change. Some individuals see minimal change in the beginning as we slowly introduce the medication, while others will see much faster results. Most individuals report seeing weight loss in the first 2-4 weeks of treatment, which continues to improve as time goes on.

What are the side effects of Semaglutide?

Potential for side effects vary by individual, and if experienced, these do usually decline with time as the body adjusts. Side effects may include nausea, constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, low energy, blood sugar changes or hormonal shifts. For this reason, here at Eminence Medical Aesthetics, we require a full metabolic blood panel to qualify for treatment and include frequent check ins and dosing adjustments.

Who is not a good candidate for Semaglutide?

Your initial consultation will help determine if you are a fit for Semaglutide treatments, but the below conditions may prohibit you from being a candidate: - thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) - endocrine system condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2) -pancreas or kidney problems -type 2 diabetes (or a history of diabetic retinopathy) -struggle or have struggled with depression, suicidal thoughts, or mental health issues -pregnant or nursing
