PHYSICIAN SUPERVISED WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
Weight Consult and Monitoring
A variety of weight reduction programs are available at Eminence Medical Aesthetics. It is important to be in a weight reduction program in which one feels comfortable. A nutritional consult is a prerequisite for starting any weight management treatments. It involves an in-person consultation with Dr. Yunayev who recommends an individualized weight loss program based on each person’s specific metabolic and hormonal state, life-style factors and any co-existing medical conditions in order to optimize safe and effective weight loss.*
A typical weight loss program is three months long and incorporates any combination of blood work analysis, pharmaceuticals, Mesotherpay and or hormone replacement therapies such as HCG injections, and nutritional supplements as well as ongoing nutritional counseling to incorporate a low calorie, safe and nutritious diet that drives lasting results. Throughout the weight loss journey, one’s body-mass index, lean muscle and fat percentages, blood pressure and metabolic profile (glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides) are closely monitored to ensure optimal safety and results.*
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) Diet*
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin or hCG, was first discovered as a product secreted by the placenta in women during pregnancy and is responsible for stabilizing metabolism during pregnancy. With HCG a person is able to eat significantly fewer calories while still feeling full as the HCG helps to metabolize the stored up and otherwise useless fat in the body to make up for the loss. This burns fat yet preserves muscle. In order to get maximum results from the hCG hormone, it is important that one adheres to the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) and to the specific food options that are recommended.*
Mesotherapy
Often referred to as “liposuction without surgery”, Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to deliver microinjections of fatty/amino acids directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) to eliminate localized fat deposits and cellulite in target areas (e.g. abs, back, legs, butt, arms, chin, neck, face and more).*
Pharmaceutical Therapy
The use and dosage of medication is discussed individually since this is based on each person’s program and medical condition. The purpose of appetite suppressants is to reduce hunger drive, thereby reducing caloric intake. This reduction in hunger can help resist the many physiological and psychological pressures to eat. It is intended for use in conjunction with a physician-supervised reduced-calorie diet. All individuals taking appetite suppressants are monitored closely.*
