What is the HydraFacial?

The HydraFacial is a hi-tech facial breakthrough and gold-standard in aesthetic technology. It takes its name from the root word Hydrate; “to cause to take up moisture”. This ability to moisturize the skin separates this advanced anti-aging, skin rejuvenating and therapeutic facial from all other skin resurfacing procedures. The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective on the face, neck, chest, back and/or hands.

How is the Hydrafacial different from Microdermabrasion?

Unlike other facials, including the Microdermabrasion treatment, the HydraFacial is unique in that it incorporates moisturizing the skin as part of the procedure, thereby offering a gentler yet more effective treatment. Microdermabrasion, on the other hand, is a simple exfoliation process that works by causing slight abrasions on the top-most layer of skin and “vacuuming” the exfoliating material away, which uncovers the newly exposed, younger-looking skin. The HydraFacial is a “new and improved” version of microdermabrasion – a multi-step process providing a cleanse and exfoliation, a peel to loosen dirt from pores, a vortex suction (used to remove other impurities), then a hydration including anti-oxidants and hyaluronic acid is administered using a patented vortex-fusion in order to nurture and shield your skin from the environment.
