The Procedure
We first consult with the client and note the thickness of the skin, the amount of discoloration, the depth of wrinkles and the amount of fat that lies beneath. This helps us to customize a treatment plan using the proper frequencies and ultrasound energy waves.
The instrument used is a handheld device that looks a bit like a small hairdryer. Our specialist may first apply sonogram gel to the skin and slowly move the instrument along the skin surface. Each ultrasound blast lasts only a few milliseconds, and the client feels a powerful push but no actual discomfort.
The energy is absorbed by the subdermal tissues. This causes an immediate reaction by the body to send nutrients to the affected areas. Although the treatment is completed in just an hour or so, the real magic occurs over the next month or two.
After Treatment
Most people will feel a slight pounding sensation underneath the skin for a few days after treatment is completed, but it isn’t uncomfortable.
